lyrics
Throwing my sweat to the ground
While I rest under my knees
Feeling the grass swallowing me
Then I concern about the time
I see my bones turning grey
Like the rocks I promised to be
Don't wanna beg for clarity
But now I feel so far to be free
And all these fools blaming on me
But they are my weakness
Shitting on me
But they are my sickness
Learning the fails in the steps I take
Seeing the truth in the dust I make
Tasting the fire in the ashes I leave
Building the life in the death they see
I'm close to break down the whole fucking everything
I must change this from my behaviour
I must change this from my behaviour
I'll try hard
I'll try harder
I'll try hard
I'll try harder
I'll try hard
I'll try harder
I'll try hard
I'll try harder

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
Former members of the great band SubRosa return as The Otolith, and their debut LP finds them at the peak of their mighty powers. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 24, 2022
An absolutely amazing album that reaches you to the bottom of the abyss. Gaia takes you by the hand, tells you that you're not alone in this, the pain is over, the misunderstanding of your pain is over and accompanied by keyboards, violins, acoustic guitars, cello and amazing vocals, she pulls you out of the disgusting mire of your mind and together you embark on a journey of melancholy, despondency, hope, pessimism and the seasons. tenebriscaedes
