lyrics
Put your fingers on my brain
Let me feel your warm embrace
Blind my body and numb my sense
Let me deep on innocence
May I get out of being alive
But I keep breathing one more time
Don't wanna see the gap on me
I am somewhere don't wanna be
They are the reason I exist
They burn my chest and cut my lips
They drill my back and crush my legs
They break the home that I'm building
So I ask you for mercy
Let me embrace your fire
Deny them my cries
Drowning in my tears
Let me satisfy
Let me satisfy

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
